Seminar on “Awareness against Online Frauds”

The Commerce Club of Khalsa College for Women, Amritsar, in collaboration with HDFC Bank and under the Tech India initiative of The Times of India, organized a seminar on “Awareness against Online Frauds” on 4th September, 2024. The event aimed to educate students about the risks associated with online transactions and provide them with knowledge to protect themselves from cybercrimes.

Renowned resource person, Ms. Anmol from Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, delivered an insightful presentation on the various types of online frauds, including phishing, identity theft, and online scams. She shared valuable tips and best practices to avoid falling prey to such frauds.

The seminar was attended by students of commerce and management streams, who actively participated in the interactive session. The event was a huge success, and the students appreciated the initiative taken by the Commerce Club to create awareness about this critical issue.

Mr Amrendra Kumar Pandey, from Times of India was also there to grace the event.
