2022-2023

The players of Khalsa College for Women, Amritsar, glorified the name of the college by winning various positions in different sports like Football, Softball, Handball, Kabaddi and Athletics. The college achieved 1st position in Football, Softball and Athletics and 2nd position in Handball and 3rd position in Kabaddi in Khedan Watan Punjab Diya held at Mohali (football), Ludhiana (Softball and Handball), Patiala (Kabaddi) and Sangrur (Athletics) from 14th October 2022 to 22 October 2022. The Honorary Secretary, S. Rajinder Mohan Singh Ji Chhina, has congratulated the Principal and all sportspersons for their success in these events. The college Principal, Dr. Surinder Kaur, admired the efforts of the team, coach and teacher for their hardwork and motivated them for further success in future.

  • Rugby team of the college got 2nd position in Intercollege organized by GNDU.
  • Football team of the college won 1st position in Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan and got cash price of Rs.10,000 each player.
  • Softball players won 1st position in Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan and got cash price of Rs.10,000.
  • Athletics players won 1st position in Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan and got cash price of Rs.10,000..
  • Kabaddi team won 3rd position in Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan and got cash price of Rs.5,000.

 

 

 

2021-2022

  • Boxing team got 1st Position in Intercollege Boxing Championship held on Oct 26-27, 2021.
  • KCW winner in Softball Intercollege Championship held at Guru Nanak Dev university Amritsar From Dec 10-12, 2021.
  • College won 3rd Position in Kabaddi Intercollege held at GNDU Asr on Nov 7-9, 2021
  • Football Team and Volleyball Team got 3rd Position in Intercollege Championships held at GNDU Amritsar.
  • Athletics Team got 2nd Position in Intercollege Championship held at GNDU Amritsar.

  • Baljeet Kaur, Rugby player participated in the “All India Inter University” competition held at the University of Mumbai.
  • Inderjit Kaur, the kabaddi player participated in the “Khelo India Inter University” competition held at Jain University, Bangalore from 23rd April to 3rd May 2022.
  • Inter College online Yoga Competition was organized by Bebe Nanki University College Mithra in which Harpreet Kaur BA Sem 2 got Second position and Pawandeep kaur BCA Sem 6 got third position.
